Our mission is to effectively assist individuals battling cancer by connecting them to vital support and resources. We ensure that all relevant information reaches those in need, guiding them towards the resources necessary to fight their battle against cancer.

Dr. Chalice C. Rhodes, Cancer/Oncology Behavioral Health Specialist
Dr. Chalice C. Rhodes (formerly Jenkins) is a licensed and nationally certified Professional Counselor. Most recently, she was honored as the first designee of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society's Psychosocial Oncology virtual academy! This designation led to her becoming a certified Psychosocial Cancer/Oncology Behavioral Health specialist. This designation is near and dear to her heart, as she was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS) or non- invasive breast cancer in September 2022. She had a lumpectomy to remove the cancer and completed radiation treatment in December 2022! By the grace and mercy of God, Dr. Chalice, as she is affectionately known, is a breast cancer survivor! As a Psychosocial Cancer/Oncology Behavioral Health Specialist, Dr. Chalice's increased knowledge and personal experience has sharpened her sensitivity and skill, while providing competent and effective care to the survivorship population. Family Reach
Family Reach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing non-medical financial support to cancer families. Treatment requires more than medicine — families need a roof over their heads and food on their tables to survive. If a family can’t meet these basic needs, cancer treatment takes a back seat. We work with patients, providers, and community organizations to challenge the systems that force families to choose between their health and home. Together, we’re making financial treatment a standard of cancer care.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer is a national nonprofit organization that seeks to create a world that understands there is more than one way to have breast cancer. To fulfill our mission of providing trusted information and a community of support, we offer on-demand emotional, practical, and evidence-based content that is meaningful to those newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-treatment, and living with metastatic disease.

Program, American Cancer SocietyDedicated to improving the appearance and confidence of people undergoing cancer treatment through free virtual or in-person beauty sessions and online educational resources.

National Breast Cancer
Foundation NBCF’s mission is to help women now by providing help and inspiring hope to those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education, and support services.

On the Other Side
On the Other Side is a cancer navigation enterprise that offers emotional support to individuals and families. Our experienced cancer doula and thriver guides and helps them navigate cancer and the healthcare system mindfully so they can get on the other side of cancer and reclaim their lives.

Surviving Breast Cancer.org
Survivingbreastcancer.org (SBC) was created in 2017 to help fill the gaps in breast cancer support, education, and resources. All services, education, programming, and events are free to those diagnosed with breast cancer as well as their caregivers.

The Black Breast Cancer Alliance
Our mission is to drive the collaborative efforts of patients, survivors, advocates, advocacy organizations, healthcare professionals, researchers, and pharmaceutical companies to work towards the common goal of eradicating Black Breast Cancer.

The Mesothelioma Center
This website features the most comprehensive guide to mesothelioma, including general information about the disease, treatment, and symptoms – 100% free, and is also medically reviewed by doctors. Here are some of the things they offer: a monthly online support group where they discuss a variety of topics pertaining to cancer patients, an on-staff doctor and nurse available to answer any medical-related questions, and patient Advocates that work 1-on-1 with individuals to help them find local doctors, treatment centers, and support groups.

The Pink Fund
Pink Fund provides financial support to help meet basic needs, decrease stress levels, and allow breast cancer patients in active treatment to focus on healing while improving survivorship outcomes. Our 90-day grant program allows us to meet their critical expenses for housing, transportation, utilities, and insurance. 

The Sister Network
To amplify awareness and education that there is a breast cancer crisis in the Black community and provide support and sisterhood through our extensive 25 + survivor-run affiliate chapters in major U.S. cities.To improve Black women’s access to mammogram screenings, quality care and access to resources and information.Mobilize and provide advocacy training to our affiliate network of survivors and ambassadors to take action and advocate for change on the state and federal level to help save our Sisters’ lives.

Massachusetts Residents

BreastCase Scenario
Breast Case Scenario is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based out of Boston, MA, committed to helping women cope with the side effects of cancer treatment.

Ellie Fund
Provides support services for breast cancer patients in active treatment. Services include grocery assistance, light housekeeping, transportation, childcare reimbursement and more.

Pink and Black Education Network
The Network leverages the successful work of the Pink and Black Ambassadors, a group of Black female breast cancer survivors who collaborated with the Boston Public Health Commission in 2005 to increase breast cancer awareness among Black women. The name of the 2005 group drew from the key message in Boston’s breast cancer awareness campaign at the time – “Pink isn’t the only color associated with breast cancer.” The Network is open to all female breast cancer survivors.

Minneapolis - St. Paul Residents

African American Breast Cancer Alliance
Provides education and support for African Americans in their journeys with breast cancer and survivorship.

Breast Cancer Education Association
Educates the community by providing support and information about breast cancer detection, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.

Hope Chest for Breast Cancer
Provides help for urgent daily living needs of Minnesota breast cancer patients. Emergency assistance funds help with costs such as rent, utilities, childcare, and transportation to provide nutritious meals for families facing breast cancer.

Minnesota Dept of Health - Sage Screening Program
Offers free breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening to qualified individuals.

New Jersey Residents

YWCA, Princeton Breast Cancer Resource Center
The Breast Cancer Resource Center provides resources and programming for women impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis.  The BCRC is a program at the YWCA Princeton but there is virtual programming available.  The Center provides FREE wigs, bras and prosthetics without the need for insurance.
